All last week I thought Father's Day was today and Rourk followed right along. We kicked off the weekend by letting Rourk pick out our restuarant on Friday night. Then yesterday I snuck around getting presents and cards together. It wasn't until around 10pm last night that I realized after watching a commercial that the big day isn't until next Sunday. Truly, if I had missed the commercial we would have celebrated today. I guess that wouldn't have been all bad, but still pretty funny.
We have watched it rain almost all weekend, except for the little break we got yesterday when we were able to do a few things in the yard. The pictures that you see of Rourk's new office were taken this afternoon during another break. It will all be his June 30th. We went this afternoon to look at what we need to change the sign and we also ordered business cards and address stamps. It's little things, but we decided to do some of them while we have the time.
That's about it for today. Ryan goes back to school tomorrow after a short week break. He will go 3 days a week now. Mon,Tues and Wed. He'll continue to get his therapy there, but the extra day will give him a chance to spend more time in the classroom setting. I haven't taken in pictures at school in a long time. I'll try and do that soon.
Oh, and Ryan took a few steps on his own today. Rourk and I sat several feet apart and encouraged him to walk between us. I just about cried when he came wobbling toward me with his feet spread apart and his hands in the air and the biggest grin I have ever seen. He's just amazing!!!
