Ryan is an Episcopalian.

Ryan must have wanted to receive communion this morning. Rourk carries him to the rail and usually holds him in one arm and negotiates communion in the other. Well, Ryan's first attempted was to grab a wafter, but Father Timothy was too fast for him. Next comes the wine and Ryan was ready for it...he dunked his whole hand in it. The good news is we were running a few minutes late and ended up sitting on the last pew, so we were at the very end of the line.

Ryan goes back to school for the fall tomorrow. We found out at the end of last week that he will be moving up to the next level. This was news to us because we had originally been told he would stay in the same class, but the school has enrolled several younger children and they need the space. I hope to remember to take my camera tomorrow so I can take a few pictures of his first day.

And Ryan has become my laundry helper. When he hears me open the dryer he comes running. He will throw in the first few things, but after that he usually want to try and climb in and throw things out. Second thought, he's not much of a helper, but he's still fun to watch.

That's about all of our news. Slow weekend. Like I said, hopefully I'll have pictures of Ryan at school.
