Summer is moving along. It's hard to believe that August will be here in a few more days. I have managed to get a few pictures on the blog, but not much writing. It just seems like I have been so busy and when I am not busy I'm just tired. I think it's the heat. It has been hotter than usually for these parts and it's zapping my energy.
So let's see...
The baby must be doing great. She spends the better part of each day kicking me. My next doctor's apppointment is not until the end of the month, but I don't figure there will be much to report. I have been buying her a few things along the way. I even bought a few outfits that are pink and they didn't burn my hands when I touched them. I still can't bring myself to buy something that says Princess or Cutie Pie, but I am making progress.
And Rourk and I are going to be host parents to two children from Korea. They arrive tomorrow night and will be here for two weeks. They are attending an English camp. They are boys and also quite young. Soo Hyun is in the 3rd grade and has chosen Willie as his American name. And Yeong Min is in the 6th grade and has decided that he wants to be called Brian. We are hoping that Brian can speak enough English to at least communicate the basics with us and help the younger child. In Korea children take English beginning in the 2nd grade, so I have my fingers crossed that he's been a good, attentive student. Being a mom, I have worried about food the most. Willie states in his brief bio that he doesn't like cheese, pizza or hamburgers and I found out at a recent meeting that he doesn't like fruit or vegetables either. So what does he like? Traditional Korean food. Well, we're a little short on that around here. I am willing to try and fix a few Korean dishes. I have also decided that I am going to take them to Super Wal-Mart and let them pick out some things that they would like to try while they are here. Wish us luck!!
Ryan is attending the Meyer Center and is in the last half of his summer session. He goes two more weeks and then he has a two week break before going back for the fall. I believe they are going to move him up again in the fall. And the ENT wants to replace the tubes in his ears with ones that have a larger diameter. He hopes that this will decrease the chances of a blockage, which is the reason he can't hear. That means sugery again, but Ryan did great last time and I am sure he will again. It's not scheduled yet, but I think we'll just wait until sometime during his two week break.
Well, I should go. Ryan needs a snack before his speech therapist gets here.

You guys are awesome. Those little boys are going to have so much fun with you and I know Ryan is going to love playing with them.
I'm so glad we get to stay got up on what's going on with you from your blog.
Take care.
