She is full of grace. (Post two.)

LILLIAN GRACE FREEMAN

Don't worry, my GET IT DOWN, 21 for 31 isn't going to be all about Down syndrome or Ryan. I started noticing in the days before the Buddy Walk that most of my posts were about those two subjects and Lilly posts were falling behind. I guess that is a classic part of being a second child, you don't get as many pictures and you don't get as many blog entries.

Lilly has a wonderful laugh. She gurgles. It is the cutest thing ever and it can make me smile even when I am having the worst day.

She has the biggest blue eyes. People comment on this all the time. We can be at the grocery and someone almost always says something about her eyes.

She loves to eat. She loves to smile. She loves to be with her big brother. She loves giving the dogs her food. She loves her Daddy. She loves me. I love her.

She is taking a few steps as she cruises along the furniture. She climbed onto a ride-0n toy tonight. She didn't do this so she could ride it; she used it like a ladder so she could get closer to the TV. She's smart.

She crawls. She chases the dogs. She chases Ryan. She squeals in excitement as she does these things.

She takes good naps and she sleeps at night too.

She eats green peas and broccoli and applesauce and crackers and rice.

She is part of our family. It is as if she has always been with us. She's a miracle.

You can write about ANYTHING! It doesn't have to be about DS. No worries! :)
