I know I said that I am still here and I am, but I am wordless. I have sat down at the computer a half dozen times to update you on my comings and goings and there is only one word to describe them: BORING.
So this is the boring update.
I am now Rourk's office manager. That now puts me at his office at 8 each morning and until I can get our part-time receptionist trained to work alone in the afternoons I'll been there until 5 each afternoon. That makes for a long day.
I am tired.
I spend all my extra time cooking, cleaning, and doing things with the kids.
I am tired. Oh, I already said that but it bares repeating.
I did get to sew a little, but only because we had a snow day. Sure, I should have been doing other stuff, but I needed a few hours to myself.
So while I am getting used to my new responsibility as office manager you may not see me around here as often as before, but it will get better and maybe even less boring.
P.S. I made vegetable soup yesterday. That's exciting, right?

The life of a working mom is two things: boring and exhausting. Okay, add stressful and you've got three things. Hope you get into your groove soon (and that you don't have to work all day for long!)
After a week of sniffles and sickness would it sound horrid if I offered to change places with you??!! :)
Worry not about us blog people out here - we will patiently wait to hear what is on the menu, even - thinking of you and hoping the transition goes quickly so that you can get your days back..
BTW, no luck with the book as of yet - this house is a MESS and I dont even have a job!!!!
