Adoption Update

I have been sharing bits and pieces about the problems with Russian adoptions, but thought the above link would give everyone a better picture about what's going on over there.

Basically this is where Rourk and I stand:

• our paperwork has been in the Volgograd and Perm regions since the end of June.
• our agency is hoping to hear about accreditation sometime this month.
• if they do not receive accreditation then we will be allowed to switch countries.
  
• if we have to switch we will more than likely switch to Kazakhstan.

I hate to sound so frank about the whole thing, but I know that our agency is doing all that they can to process our adoption, but ultimately we are all at the mercy of the Russian government. It will all happen in the right time.
