Summer Pictures

When I was a kid we would go to Aunt Jenny's house in the summer for a few weeks and my brother and I and all the cousins would play in the creek. We'd spend hours in it. A few weeks ago I visited the creek and let Ryan play in it with his cousin Sheridan. The creek has grown up over the years because there isn't anyone around to play in it anymore, but Sheridan and Ryan did the same things we used to to do as kids: caught minnows and crayfish and splashed in the water. We even caught a frog that was sitting on the bottom. I was amazed that the frog could stand the water. It is so cold. It was kind of strange standing there watching my children at the same creek where I had spent so many hours having fun. Like passing something on to the next generation Lilly slept. I guess she'll just have to go creek stomping the next time.
