How did we end up at a Cheetah Girls concert? Last week I received a call from the BI-LO Center asking if the Down Syndrome Family Alliance would like free tickets. I said yes and while coordinating the tickets Rourk and I decided we'd take the kids. Sure, why not. I knew Ryan would enjoy the music, but I was skeptical about Lilly. I was afraid it would be too loud and it would be too late and she'd get tired and whiny. I was wrong. Oh my! I wish you could have seen Lilly. She's a Cheetah Girl at heart. She gave new meaning to "put your hands in the air like you just don't care." She was in awe from the moment the music started until we left shortly after 9p.m. She danced. She sang. She clapped. She was awesome. I bet she dreamed of being a Cheetah Girl last night and rising above the stage in chandelier.
