Things to Do.

We are closing the office next week and bringing in a painting crew to tear down the 30 year old grass cloth and then paint from top to bottom. I am excited about that, I really am, but I am even more excited about whittling away at my long list of things I want to accomplish next week. I love making a "Things to Do" list and I have been making them for years now. I have been known to make a list of things to clean, a list of things to sew, list of things to take to Goodwill. It won't be long before I start making lists of things to do for the holidays. I even have a master notebook I use for my lists. There's nothing better than picking out a cool notebook for my lists. I just admitted total geekiness, but I swear it keeps me centered. When I am feeling a bit scattered I can take out my notebook, re-organize my lists and then I feel good again.

So next week I am going to plant bulbs and sew Halloween costumes, and winter clothes for Lilly and pajamas for Ryan and I am going to clean out from under the upstairs bathroom sink and go to a movie with Rourk and drink coffee way into the morning and clean out the garage and do all the laundry and fold it, too and finish my continuing education hours for my social work license and clean out Lilly's closet and the list goes on and on and on.

I think we're long over due for a vacation at home. Don't you?

That is a mighty long list...good luck! You will need a vacation after completing that list!!

Come on now....slow down and enjoy the coffee longer and go to more movies with Rourk and spend some me time in there somewhere!

Vacations at home are the very best ones, I think.

Sounds great. Home all week while all the kids are in school? Peace and quiet? Nice.
