Rourk and I had the dress made for Lilly as a keepsake that she pass on to her children one day. Many thanks go to Gail Carter, our seamstress, and her God given talent to create beautiful clothing out of love and nimble fingers. I found the lace last summer after looking at nearly every piece of Swiss embroidery I could find on the internet. She designed the dress by using the lace and pictures of an heirloom dress that has been passed down in the Freeman family since around 1900. I believe she did and amazing job and we will treasure it for many years to come.
