I know Father's Day was almost a week ago, but as I was taking these pictures it occurred to me that this is the reason Rourk is the greatest father around. He's had several set-backs with his garden this year. His first crop of tomatoes suffered badly in a storm we had several weeks ago. Then he broke his ankle and couldn't attend to them like he'd normally do, so he decided to go to Lowes and buy tomato plants. Here he is patiently letting Ryan help him and I am sure saying a little prayer in hopes that it will keep Ryan from ripping the leaves off or yanking the plants out of the ground. Ryan isn't known for his garden trustworthiness.
