On Friday afternoon Lilly asked if she could paint the house and after a couple of questions I figured out that she wanted to paint our house and deck. Well, this just wouldn't do so I suggested that she go outside and paint the playhouse. She thought this was a grand idea and it wasn't long before Ryan joined in the fun and they were painting the playhouse and each other. They were probably outside for 20 minutes before it started raining and they had to come inside. I quickly shoved all the painting supplies into the house and rushed Ryan and Lilly upstairs for a bath.
To be honest I forgot all about the paints until this afternoon when I caught Ryan painting the house again. I suppose the truth of the matter is he was putting more paint on himself than the house and then Lilly decided to use a little pink paint to give herself a "lipstick" makeover. It was all in good fun and nothing a quick shower couldn't fix.
