Yard Work.

 

 

 

Our yard was long overdue for a day spent in it raking leaves, pulling weeds and cutting back last year's flowers, so we took advantage of today's warmer temperatures and went outside. The kids were pretty good helpers and as you can see they enjoyed filling our new compost bin (never thought I'd own one of those).

Our plans are to expand our gardening this year. Rourk has already built one raised bed area and has a second one in the works. He has also planted lettuce, spinach, and broccoli and has them soaking up the rays under a grow light. Exciting stuff!
